Introduces basic theory and programming in computer graphics. Includes graphics pipeline, rasterization, windowing and clipping, OpenGL programming, theory of domain transformations, mathematics of three-dimensional graphics involving rotation, scaling, and translation and perspective projection, curve and surface modeling, lighting and shading, texture mapping, visibility algorithms, shading languages, and ray-tracing. May not be taken for credit by students who have received credit for CS 435. |
